Precare/Aftercare

Pre-Care Instructions

Your deposit will be forfeited and appointment will be rescheduled if you do not follow these pre-care instructions


  • No blood thinner such as caffeine, vitamin E, fish oil, tea, energy drinks, aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol, etc 24-48 hours prior
  • Avoid tweezing, threading, and waxing your eyebrows at least 2 weeks prior (being able to see your natural hair growth is the best to work on)
  • Avoid brow dye or tint 4 weeks prior 
  • Avoid tanning 4 weeks prior 
  • Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and any harsh facials at least 4 weeks prior 
  • Avoid botox and fillers near the brow area 2 months prior
  • Cosmetic surgeries near the brow area (must be fully healed)
  • Do not tan or have sunburned face/skin 2 weeks prior

After-Care Instructions

  • Wash your eyebrows daily to remove bacteria and dead skin (Don't worry, this will not remove the pigment)
  • Gently wash with water and an antibacterial soap like Dial Soap, Cetaphil, Cerave, or Neutrogena. Gently pat dry with a clean tissue. Do not use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants 
  • Apply a rice grain of A&D ointment or aquaphor with a q-tip. Be sure not to over apply as this will suffocate your skin and may delay healing. Don't put ointment on wet or damp skin
  • Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally fall off, picking can cause scarring and loss of pigmentation 
  • No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks 
  • Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for 10 days 
  • Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for the first 10 days 
  • Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days
  • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days 
  • Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for first 10 days 
  • Avoid topical makeup including sunscreen on the area for 10 days 
  • Do not rub, pick or scratch the area 

Lip-Blush Instructions

  • Gently clean the area by dabbing cool water on your lips with a clean cotton pad
  • After cleaning, gently pat them dry with a clean paper towel
  • Apply a&d ointment 3-5 times a day for 2 weeks
  • Lips will start to peel. Do not pick!
  • No kissing for 3-5 days after the procedure 
  • Avoid foods that are spicy, oily, salty, and acidic
  • Eat food with a fork for the 3 days after the procedure 
  • Do not apply makeup on your lips for 14 days
  • No swimming, working out, sauna, hot yoga, and tanning beds for 14 days
  • Immediately after procedure, lips will appear very bright in color. Lip blush can lighten up 30-40% when completely healed. Redness, swelling, tenderness. and dryness are common after the procedure
